yer mate its fully mapped but having a few issues really cant put any advance timing or wmi on it as has some issue bill thinks i could be knock sensors are torqued up to tight making it over sensative but bascialy put any advance timing on a ecu pulls it straight back.
also forge intercooler is crap as we all thought heat soaks very fast.
cold run making around 260bhp and 270 tourque.
few runs later loosing about 20 bhp!

but all in all a 1.4 bar spike holding 1.2 to the redline.
really not great considering my mods but its one of thos things and i am happy enough with the outcome.
ramble over.
cant fault bill at all really knows what hes doing and its hard for me to keep up! sure you two will talk for hours lol

O dear mate thats no good! The knock sensors are only bolted to the front of the block easy enough too undo and torque up again properly :)

You need too be buying a new cooler asap theres no point in having all that power if its going to dissapear when you give it the beans.

Hope everything works out for you anyway mate!

Yer going to order same Intercooler setup as you really need to pick your brains on setup.
All in all tho I'm sure I'll be happy with it 260 is a lot for fwd we will see how it gets to the Tarmac

Yeah its how it drive not about chasing numbers. No problem, I will be changing my setup as I now have a LHS inlet manifold but ill let you know how I had it set up before and what i done/ bought.

You will also want to move the rad back using one of alex's brackets because although it fits I was going to have next to no bumper left.

Ok mate good to know as you say it's not all about chasing numbers and as you well know a cold winter morning makes turbos work so well but hit summer time intake temps up heatsoak sets in. Wmi needed.
Thanks for the help mate I will be in touch when cooler needs sorting.
Good luck with the build mate.
Won't take up any more of your rr

between 5-6psi dropped across the fmic and pipe setup on this..
flows 210-215g/s and 1.4bar to 1.2bar boost up top.. but also gets near 60'c temps

its a *guess* re the ign and knock sensors..

This really does show how crap the forge cooler is, I used to get 55deg temps on my k03s using a forge cooler and that was with 10deg ambient.

It does go to show spending 700 pound on a cooler that's meant to flow 300bhp ish
Lucky I got it second hand. Still can't wait to get it on the road. Stripped out will be mental enough. God know how yours is going to be James. Mad

There is no way it can cope with 300bhp, imo 200 is its max. They had to compromise I suppose to make it a "bolt on" mod. i.e the depth of it and the rear entrance of the pipes.
