I had the opportunity to go out in Daz's car today. I must say out of all the stage 2 LCRs I been in and most recent being Brad1s - DKs is an animal. Pulls much stronger and the power delivery is so so smoother. The exhaust sounds the nuts.

Shame I couldnt replicate the sense of speed in my car as mine was leaking boost all day and popping hoses left right and center. Seeing how fast DKs car is I am glad I ordered the new cam as he would certainly give me a run for my money!

:D It's a bit quick aint it :D
Shaun@AmD had a go in it aswell, it's the first time he's driven it since the new map went on, he said he was very impressed with the power delivery and how smooth it is, however he did also say we could still get more power from the engine, maybe when I get used to what I'v got now we'll have an other play with the map

Shame your's popped that hose off :(

Sweet work mate, just been catching up on your progress whilst pissing about at the airport. So what have AMD done different on this car seen as it is pulling like mad?

I dont know the full spec of the map, basically they've adjusted the fueling and upped the boost, it now holds at 20psi.

And you need a cat ;)

B0110cks to a cat lol, if a sports cat comes up cheap enough then yeah I'll get one but the decat is just fine at the moment lol :) A deal has already been made for a 3" downpipe :D

Trial fit of the new engine cover has shown how much work is going to be needed to make it fit properly

CanonPhotos108.jpg

Firstly I need to either make or buy the bracket that sit's behind the header tank to hold the cover inplace, then fit the bigger washer bottle which moves the filler hole over so it lines up, then trim under side of the cover to fit over the PS reseviour and carbon canistor, then trim and extend where needed to match the lines of the wing and front cross member,
