No idea mate as I've never ran it the "right" way![]()
Correct. Put in the 'right' way mate. Its more responsive. The blow off will be less noisy but the car runs better.
Stick a silicone hose between the maf and the cone filter too...as long as possible

....What does your boost peak at Damo in bar?
damo any chance u can get me a close up shot of ur alloys, wanna c what the anthrecite colour is like, debating it for the refurb time, but cant decide between, anthrecite, anthrecite sparkle and silver sparkle
Damien, it runs without problems surely. I also tried like that. Only difference is that the car is more responsive. Thats all.
Weird, most of my friends including me we are using the blue spring on our forge valves.
Concerning the distance between the maf and the air filter we noticed after logging that the longer the distance the better the readings.![]()
I've got a nice 90mm cold air feed that I'll prob be fitting todaySo that should help it get a little more air too..
Yep, onto the OEM intake mate![]()
Not sure TBH mate, but it cant hurt it. Its got to get enough air through it as its all that feeds the standard airbox and you can get ~140-150g/s with it still in place..
Hmmmm, sounds OK then! Plenty of pics needed obviously when you have finished Damo.
