I tryed another New Dv tonight and the car is still the same...Speaks @ 25psi then tails to 15psi but im getting a fluttering or somesort coming from the engine...When i get this shortly afterwards it settles to 15psi...

going to check the hoses under the inlet manifold tomorrow it can be my Actuator or MBC can it....Static Pressure is set at 9-10psi but bill told me he sets his static pressures to 12psi to keep the gate closed past 20psi+ .....

I Just finished under the bonnet off the car sorting out the wirings, cables ties, vac piping and charge hoses....

They had been abit of a mess since me doing work under the hood so i double checked and inspected all the hoses and jubliee clipped & Cabled tied the vac pipes....

Also Had a split PCV hoses under the inlet which i bodged to secure a new one from seat on monday...with chatting the bill & others ive put the n75 in parrell ( i think) with the MBC so the n75 can control part Throttle Because at 70mph @ just under 3,000rpm its spooling its tits off @ part throttle and alot of surging...

Anyway i think ive done this correctly with the n75 and mbc in together...i havent drove it yet but will do it soon have i done this soon...

WP_000185-1.jpg

hows it looks all the t-pieces look fine? correctly done?

well after a month & 1/2 of pissing around i think ive finally might have sorted this and set it up....

I Tested how ive got the hoses and adjusted the mbc to suit @24psi...now it currently hits 24psi @ just under 3,500rpm then it holds 21psi and as the rev increase the guage needle moves to 20 the 23 then 20 then 23 then 20 and then as the revs go near the back end of 6,000rpm the guage is saying 16-17psi....

But it defo feels quick as the power "Doesnt" tail off it stays there at 5,500rpm which you can still feel in your chest...Also 2nd gear in WOT is saying 21psi peak which is correct for the selected gear is it not?

So result :D im gonna log all the stuff once my D/S wheel bearing is sorted..

But RESULT.....

I know but its a start Phil...

Drove it again tonight hit dead on the nose @24psi in 4,5 and 6th gear and settle to 20psi..it could be the yuage Phil but its only a few psi between 1-2 at times but it isn't co stand...

What logs do you want me todo Phil? And which ones together..

Do one boost log only so you get the best sample rate. I think both 115 and 118 has an rpm value so either will be fine, if not go with whatever has an rpm value.

I will do that phil...il do a far few once my wheel bearings done next week...

How yours coming along?

I desided to re-fit my GFB 50.50 hybrid which my mate ash has had i havent had this on my remapped lcr at all..so wanted to see what it sounds like at 24psi...

Yeah Id have to agree the MBC cost me £20 posted but i can see why know...Its working well with the n75 now as im guessing the n75 has took over the main objective of controlling the boost...

best of all no 6th gear surging...My gosh that was horrible...

My Wheel bearing has just started to whine could i do a few logs from it?

Ive done some new logs tonight in 4th but with it being a sunday night all i could find was BP petrol station which is 97 ron...:ban:

Anyway anthing i need to change? car on boost was odd tonight?anyway something i can start from i suppose...

Impressive top end boost holding for a stock K04.:)
As i tried to explain to some of the other high powered stock k04 cars, you need to appreciate the limits of the stock 380 cc injectors. @6360 rpm for example your running at an injector duty cycle of over 104 %, yikes! Upgraded injectors are an easy fix.

Haha have I maxed out my injectors?on a stock k04?

Would a 4bar for be any good to make them 440cc's??.with the logs what boost am I peaking at...those runs on the guage were showing 23psi peak....
I run genesis 430's and they are very smooth. You could use a 4 bar reg on the stock injectors but you risk over stressing the fuel pump.
Your airmass figures are low for the boost your running and fuel consumed, can you swap your maff with someone else just to check its cosistancy.
