Anyone know some decent makes of Performance tyres...Are Toyos any good or Veds...

Toyos are good but i found they wear very quickly. Last i had was parada spec 2's but they aint so fun in the wet but i stand by them as being awesome tyres and if my tyres didnt need to be stretched id have them on the golf!
 
Lmfao....My misses fault...tryin to cancel the purchase i need other bits but dont want to sound like a ungratfull twat..

What nozzles do you plan on using? Have you got the 150bhp shot kit?

Having used Toyo R888's and GYE F1 asymmetric 1 on the track I would and do buy these all day and night.
There is a new GYE F1 Asymmetric 2's out now too which after speaking to Goodyear sound even better and the ones I'm going for for my wet track tyres.
I have Toyo R888 Medium grade tyres for my drys but will look into others when these wear out as there VERY expensive.

Over last couple of weeks ive been chatting to a Young german lad of audizines and he has the same exact setup as me...Stage 3/550cc injectors hes recently had its dyno'd on Pump 93oct fuel and made @ 25psi 339whp, 356wtq....So someone like me running 100ron should be interesting...This turbo can run a substained 1.6/1.8Bar :D

Also He emailed me this earlier...

Wak on the tt forum has a 2868 fitted and he told me 390 is achievable on standard bore with the smaller hotside.
I dont mind a bit of lag hence going for the BIG hotside :D
 
You wait and see the thread I am writing up for AZ now...

Just finished 2 B6 A4's.
One is a bone stock motor with a 70mm TB and GT2868R.
Other is a 2.0 20V w/ GT3076R HTA & 75mm throttle body
both cars pull like freight trains.... B6 avant is obviously faster off the line but 4000 rpm's on the sedan and 3rd gear....prepare for a nice seat pants feeling.
 
Either you have small hands Danny or that is one huge inlet on that turbo. Very nice :).
If you do achieve 360 bhp and above you may need bigger injectors or a 4 bar reg.

100 ron is 93 octane. Two different measurements of fuel.
 
US measure in AKI octane or something dont they, I do know 91us is just over 95uk so there 93 must be our equivelant of super unleaded.

There cars would run like dogs if it really was 93 oct fuel
