Stuck in a Rutt....Not sure on my Hotside as im ready to order my HTA turbo.... .63 hotside Or .84 Hotside...

Remeber im Running Genesis 550cc @ 3bar and Have a 4bar to spare.....I dont mind Reving it but it seems the HTA on a .84 Spools like a 60rs .63a/r and holds more power than the 2871r .63...

I don't want to really have to change the injectors but im not sure on the boost and Duty id see from it...

Can Issam not give you any advice Dan ?
I would be tempted for the 0.63 hotside just to give better spool up, but if your right in what your saying about the hta 0.84 spooling like the 0.63 then maybe go for that, it really depends on the numbers your looking for, if you want it fast spooling go with the smaller one and take advantage of the quicker spooling hta.

After reading plenty of badger bill's posts and threads he seems to stick with the 0.63 hotsides and he does know his stuff.
cheers for now,
Graham.

I have sorted it out with sammy and il be going with the .63 hotside due to the epic spool it provides..It makes Between 380bhp & 400bhp (Maxed though) with a constant 1.8bar till 7200rpm...

The HTA 68mm .63a/r billet spools faster than the 60rs and makes More power than the 2871r....

Im not chasing numbers but want todo it right and right first time...If i was chasing numbers really it would be the gt3071r .63 but for me thats too big and laggy.....I want a quick & useable Car....on OEM CC

Theres a Fellow HTA user on vortex and made 419bhp but that is with Meth so not a real constant share of readings...But ive asked him for Logs if he can provide me with them...I mean the New HTA Gt3582r Is making same spool as the 3076r but loads more power..

FP say that the .63 will make 400bhp @ 1.8bar but it needs all the supporting mods which i will have....I know i wont be dissapointed in the INA setup thats for sure i just want to make the right disunion .

This is the FP HTA Wheel Against a Standard Garret wheel...these are off the GT35 ...

Is all in the Aerodynamics & Precision of the Comp Wheel...I don't know everything about this turbo but im learning and everyone ive spoke to has said this is the perfect turbo for the 1.8T...Which the 60rs used to be,....

Sounds like the HTA's is doing these turbo's justice by using fancy billet wheels, the new line up from garrett the gtx series uses them too, thats what im gonna go for on mine.
That turbo you've gone for should make for a nice power band Dan, will be awesome im sure.

Seems the GTX series are only on Large frame turbos But from the People ive spoke too...Getting the Comp Wheel Wrong can course Surge....

Like the HTA that FP released its all new technoiolgy Same with the GTX series...Il be mega happy with it...But i don't want too much Power as its still FWD...

Fast spool & Usable power is what im after...and is my only goal...
