fitting new polo gti back box

just trying to see if anyone has info wbout what is involved in fitting it,does it have to be welded?
i was hoping that the pipe may be slightly larger than the one on my girls ibiza 1.4 and would slip over it...
help appreciated

Will more than likely just slip on over it and then use an exhaust clamp to clamp to it. Don't take my word on it but that's what most are.

you may need a 'reducer' if the pipe diametres are different

hopefully its just a case of slipping the gti pipe over the ibiza one, adding a couple of slits and clamping it, anyone thats fitted one got info?
