Fitting Wheels

Hay lads just got my tyres balanced onto the alloys (long time coming I know but there here anyway) gona fit em tomorow if its sunny anyway. Was wondering as Iv only ever changed a wheel for a spare does it matter which wheel I put onto which cornor? Tyres are radial etc u know the score with seat wheels and toyo tyres. anyway chears lads thanks in advance

Im assuming that if the tyres have a directional tread you should have 2 off side ones and 2 nearside ones

if the tyres go on backwards they won't grip properly in the wet

Just look for the little arrows on the sidewall to show which way they need to rotate

as said abouve look for the directional arrow and that will indicate the n/s and o/s wheels! if its not stated then slap them on where you want!

ah right I see which way the front ones go when looking at the side? Im presuming its left but then again dont they all go one way lol

do all the arrows have to point the same way? ie towards the front of the car I know they have been balanced right just confused a bit lol

all the arrows need to point towards the front off the car whith the arrow at the top of the wheel

I hope they have fitted them to the wheels correctly for you, you should have 2 left and 2 right ones

just try to imagine the wheels turning as the car moves forwards, that is what the arrows are telling you

ah right I get what u mean bout oposit sides, Im sure they are fitted right got em done at quick fit for £30 rather cheap I thought and on a sunday. Anyway they said watch when u fit em as they are directional and I went....o yer I know. not wanting 2 sound like a right idiot lol. was one of those nod and agree moments anyway chears lads get what u mean and al probably have em on tomorow. aye never had directional tyres before, didnt relise arrow wud be diffrent on other side Im rather silly u see lol.
