Front wipers not working, not fuse

I set out today & cleared my windscreen of the rain with the wipers twice, then as I got further a car was spraying the road muck on my car and I need to clean the windscreen so I pulled to spray and wipe but nothing happened

I've read it's common when the spray is frozen that the fuse blows and I've checked and found a blown fuse but swapped it for the horn fuse and still nothing

funny thing is when I go to spray the windscreen the back wiper goes
back wiper works in normal 2 positions + pulling on stalk

front wipers don't work in any position

any help?

Have you checked all fuses to see if a 2nd has blown? Is there a relay for the wipers? Sorry can't give exact locations etc! But prob worth a check mate....

I've checked all the 15A, 20A and 25A fuses as you can see them easily, the ones at the top, 5A and 10A I haven't checked

hopefully local VW garage have 5 minutes free for me!

dont suppose the wiper linkage or the motor has blown? yeah there would be relays for the wipers...
