think it looks fantastic. We had a quick look around a black on at Oxford Ford (Kidlington) when I went to speak to them about the Focus RS, and my wife really wants one (Fiesta ST) if she gets a company car this year. Other than the centre console which looks like a transformers head

I think its a great little car. I don't even care it has drums, as sometimes small discs can look completely ar$e under large alloys.

Black alloys look good too.

From whats been said by Ford and on the forums it doesn't look like there will be Fiesta ST being made?

Hi all, ive not posted in here for a while,

I'm looking for some inspiration.

When i had the Ibiza you lot were always creative/imaginative when it came to mods.

I would appreciate suggestions as what you lot reckon would look good to make my car look more unique.

I look forward to your suggestions!
As always i want subtle OEM style mods if possible.

I like your Fiesta mate! Think it looks really smart, seats ain't the best but the rest of it looks great!
The new Ibizas look utter bollocks! The new Cupra one looks total ****, to jaggy and too many grills!

As for mods, maybe some new wheels, if your after OEM style, its gonna be hard because your on 4 stud, so out goes new Focus, Mondeo etc..., maybe look at some white 18's or 19's?
Coilovers?

But overall good choice!

Cheers for the comments mate!

Im quite happy with the wheels at the moment, although its the obvious change that would make the car look unique.

As for coilovers, i dont think there is any developed for the MK7 yet.

There's a Scirocco round here that has had that done.. nom nom. Wouldn't do anything like that until lowered personally though.

Gloss black wheels + matching Gloss black roof

I like the idea of getting the roof done black but im not convinced by black wheels.

Ive never really considered lowering as the Zetec-s has eibach springs on as standard which are 30mm lower than the standard Fiesta.

Wow these fiesta's have really came on from the mk5 my brother had!

Saw a grey Zetec S today and it did look really well.

Liking the night time interior shots, nice to see Ford have switched from the horrible 1990's green illumination, iPod integration looks pretty decent too!

The ipod integration is really good, really easy to control with the headunit aswell.

Seriously? That looks pretty high! The standard ones must be worse than Seats!!!!!

Yeah, theres a women with a titanium model at work and its high as hell! I parked next to it the other day just to compare and theres a real big difference.

Apparently the Zetec-s suspension far stiffer than the other models aswell, but i suppose that comes with being a little lower.

Now that looks hot!!! I like the new fezza's a lot especially with that body kit and i like the current facelifted focus as well which i got to know quite well when i had one from work. Fords are a really rewarding to drive, and much easier to get get going than a SEAT.

However the interiors on them all do feel a bit cheap, however they do on seats now, the new Ibiza and Leon dash's are awful.

Hey Andy! Nice to see you purchased this little motor!
I have been bricking it lately as I have recently just put an order down for a new Zetec S too!! After putting up with my Punto Active Sport for 18 months!! I think I deserved to treat myself.

It's nice to see one in the flesh I must admit, yes these pictures look damn fine but to see it the flesh is just amazing!

I purchased the exact same as you only mine is:

Panther Black Paint
Individual Interior Pack (sweet!)

I've been sweating for weeks man thinking I made the wrong choice over which car to buy...but to see this and hear your comments just fill me full of confidence!

I must admit, I was tempted to go for the Frozen White but I saw the Panther Black one in the showroom and so many people just wanted to buy it! Everyone was going up to it! So I thought I just had to purchase it!

As for the Mountune Performance kit, I have enquired about this myself and have asked a series of questions. Now as some of you are aware, the Mountune kit does include a fully fitted chrome exhaust system. And I quote Mountune...

high-flow air induction system, a high performance exhaust system including high-flow catalyst and tubular manifold

So yeah they have looked into this as well. As regards the possibility of further tuning like they did with the ST and the Focus, they replied to me with this from David Moore who is the Technical Co-Ordinator there:

This is the only planned upgrade at this time. There was a lot more scope
with the Fiesta ST as it didn't have VCT and obviously benefitted from being
a 2-litre. With the 1.6-litre and VCT you're a lot more limited so it's
unlikely a 'stage 2' kit would appear.

So from Mountune it seems unlikely they will develop further tuning for the ZS...which is a real shame as this is the only one you can fit that won't void your warranty.

BUT I did see AND drive the Mountune ZS and WOW is it a beast! I went down to their HQ and they have a couple you can drive. And having driven the standard model and then this...well let's put it this way...there isn't any need for an ST version! Seriously, the whole driving experience really does increase. I have drove the Mk5 ST and to be honest it just isn't the same experience! It's hard to put a finger on to the precise reason why but just the little tweaks they've done just create a vast improvement, especially when hitting 5,000 RPM onwards!

So I am very tempted by this...just not a fan of the yellow stripes! Although the tyres are a very nice addition I must admit! :)

I'll be sure to post some pictures of mine when it arrives at the end of June!

But as regards mods to do, I think the black gloss alloys are a must as well as some low profile tyres :) And as someone has already said, there is bound to be a flurry of mods we can do in the near future!

But nice work bro!! :D

Thanks for the comments Jay,

I have nothing but great praise for this car. Everything is well built, works well etc.

The car handles superbly and feels really solid on the road.

The bluetooth and voice control is brilliant. Everyone who i have shown it to is amazed how good it is. The ipod is connected easily and controlled perfectly through the headunit.

The soundsystem shocked me as to how good it is as standard aswell.

The looks as you said have to be seen in the flesh to be appreciated fully! A mate of mine who was in the car with me the other day commented on how he noticed the amount of heads it turns as it drives along.

Im appreciating the standard the power at the moment as its a big step up from my previous 1.2. But im interested in investing in the mountune upgrade in the future. On some of the ford forums im a member of, they say that the exhaust is ridiculously loud  How did you find it?

p.s. if your wanting more views and info on the car there is 3 ford forums that are relatively good (however not a patch on seatcupra.net). If you want the web adressess ill pm then to you as its probably against the rules to post on here.

Sorry for delay in reply Andy, my schedule has been a little..."Busy" shall I put it :p

But yeah, as regards the speakers first of all. Did you pay for the upgrade on them, so you get 6 speakers instead of the usual 4? And I also read that it does give you that little bit more RMS power as well :) The dealer let me turn it up a bit...but not too much hahaha! But what I heard it was a nice sound anyway! But I daren't say that I won't be ripping mine out...because I probably will after a few months.

Can't wait for mine...only 4 weeks now until I can pick it up!!

As for the Mountune kit:

Well, I was hesitant at first as to whether or not I would get it fitted...after reading the many review saying that it is loud...so I decided to go and see for myself...

It is noisey...no doubt about it. But no louder than my Punto with an exhaust on. It's basically just a loud exhaust haha, it doesn't hurt your ears. Only time it can get a bit too much is when you really thrash it at around 5,500rpm or so! But obviously that doesn't happen too much on the roads. Though, I can imagine it scaring a few OAP's at the traffic lights!! HAHAHA!

On another note, between 2-5,000 RPM the exhaust was obviously noisier than the standard but not too much. As I say it was just that little bit extra that you started to notice it.

IMO, all the reviews were written by middle-aged men who obviosuly have duff ears :p So it will hurt theirs...But I am 19 and it didn't bother me.

Only thing is the price. £1500 is a bit steep. Although it does bring it to the same performance as the previous Fiesta ST model!!

Oh and as for the links, if you could send us one then that would be great ;)

well I'm loving the new ibizas, and don't really like the look of the ford I'm sorry to say.. buti did see this and thought it looked pretty good, specially liking the wheels.

I'm sure it's a fine car mate, and good luck with your plans but personally I prefer the SEAT over the Ford.
