Hand Brake Light Staying On! MK2 16V Cupra

Hey all, ive noticed that my handbrake light is starting to stay on, sometimes it goes off, sometimes it stays on!!! It's really annoying!!!

Has anyone had this problem, and can anyone suggest how to fix it?

check the handbrake sensor?

Just take the gaitor off the handbrake and its the black plastic switch at the front.

On top of the brake fluid reservoir there is a button on top. Push that down and see how you get on as well!!! Came on when i needed fluid, topped it up (pain in the arse with strut braces on!!) and pushed the button down and it went!

Yeah it could be low brake fluid amongst the above things.
