help needed on the black part of cupra bumper

Sorry if this thread as been posted before, help needed.
I am having may fr bumper sprayed next week, like a cupra but don't know if it is gloss as the mirror caps or matt black thankyou.

the part where the number plate sticks onto should be matt black, not sure how it would look if you did it gloss, i would stick with matt if i were you

Someone on here sprayed the matt black bit a gloss, it was on a thread not to long ago, he put a diffuser on the bumper

If it's like the FR, it will actually be a very dark grey finish rather than black

I got a spare diffuser and gave it to someone to mod for me,after getting a pic of his progress i went to see it and wasnt happy,he has started again and i will wait and see what he comes up with,if it aint no good i will just paint gloss black......... pic of unfinished first attempt(way to big http://cid-935e3b67f155f180.spaces.live.com/?lc=2057

Ahh you mean the black section on the new cupra with cupra lettering on it,if so i think it is gloss finish to match the rest of the black bits....

I did this to my luna grey fr, painted it gloss black to match wing mirrors and door pillars

Been painted today but not behind the grill bit at the bottom, the sprayer said? he couldent get the grill out without removing the bumper this would be another two hours labour so will have to touch it in with a brush. New grill on order in black from David Hawthorne at Sere moters many thanks David.

Did you go with gloss on both black parts? i.e. gloss behind the reg plate and gloss at the very bottom?
I was enquiring a price for this at my local Seat dealers (plus wing mirrors gloss black) and he quoted me £200!!!

yes its a gloss cost £60.00 inc vat, done at a little back street garage.

Guess I need to shop around then. Was thinking of vinyl wrap, but thought paint would be cheaper. Then when I got that quote I was like WTF. I kinda figured they would be slighter more expensive.

All black gloss and the rear spoiler and vinyl Matalic black roof...

i like that a lot i'm probably going to vinyl wrap my bumper as I cannot be bothered with the cost of painting it, although paint looks miles better
