How can I know if my Ibiza has ABS?

I remember the novelty of my first car with ABS and I never remember seeing that even though I really tried

I remember the first time the ABS cut in on my Clio 5 years ago. It was on a slushy/snowy carpark entrance and I didn't know what the hell was going on.

so, after all these replies what I want to know is, did it have ABS?

I'll see if I can make and then photograph some of the intermittent skidmarks without catching the attention of the police

Try driving it on some grass, press the brakes and see it the pedal judders. Simple as that.

Post a picture or a listing of the build sheet option codes, the bunch of 3-character codes on the bottom of the sheet. There's a very good chance that one of those codes will relate to the ABS: I have a spreadsheet with most of the codes on, and I'm sure there are othere experts who can interpret them as well.

The build sheet is in the boot under the carpet.

I've had to hit the anchors in my big ol Skoda Octavia, I think that had ABS as it did the juddery thing. bloody works though
