yea danny would cause a problem as maf would be reading the air coming in but if engine was getting more air wouldent be running right i.e incorrect boost :).
 
That what I was thinking Dave but wanted better logs to check. ECU retarding boost but if so then why not one flat boost level like limp mode.

Danny you may get a higher boost spike in a higher gear if doing say motorway speed then go wot as ther is already alot of flow.

Scanned Danny's car today as it was in limp mode and these are the fault codes that came up, we removed the sai fully after scanning with the blanking plate, so that fault code shouldn't come back again.

We know the first fault code is for the lambda, which Danny is sorting out at the min

But were wondering what the bottom code is, as that has only appeared when we scanned it tonight, anyone got any ideas what could be causing it?
 
Just got off the phone with curzon and that code does point towards the 02sensor (lambda)
So am gonna get one asap...

We did a maf runs and it pulled 170+ G/s so its working fine...Plus Since i changed the vac pipes that Devastion Code(boost Leak) hasnt come back...
 
I'd agree it's the lambda sensor.

would sugest lambda is causing it to not fuel correctly now.
 
not sure if be causing your boost issue but need to get it done anyway mate so its cleared off then can look at everything else. 1 at a time mate :)
 
Told you when you first posted the code up! Pre cat lambda needs changing. If once its changed its not ok then it might be your decat. You may find that sai code still comes up as som people that remove it still get it.
 
Right danny got a new lambda sensor on and now hes got no fault codes at all but still driving the same maybe abit better not alot.

did a log of 115 and seems to be meeting requested most of the time apart from when its asking for max boost it only give 14 psi ask's for 17psi what you lot think?

o and only reason he ended it at 6300 was he was going round a corner and it **** me up as was going fast lol. will do some proper logs some time on a straight road.
