Seat dont need biofuel when their diesels do 60 mpg haha

looks like a mint day at work that though!

haha yeah maybe...

the trifuel exige was nuts...revved to 9k and on the alpine trail was f-ing scary

the bowl was the best bit...obviously not in my car, but on way out i drove right past it..was so tempted to turn off but would prob of been arrested

some really nice cars that are pushin the boundaries and limits and good to remember that they dont all sound crap are slow...most sounds ace and are very quick...

my fav was the poo powered beetle made from gas from a sewage plant

headlight protectors are from the Seat dealership ERK_RS think he just sprayed them from memory. But best off buying tint film as looks better spray tint you always get spray marks and yet to see a car look good with them on. (no offence think this was said earlier in this thread).

nope didnt spray i'm afraid....i used flyeyes....pretty new company and was dirt cheap to buy and easy to use...its a honeycomb structure and can easily be re-applied etc...and no bubbles!

bought them from sere motors on this forum...they are a seat dealer...perhaps try sending him an private message and see if he does overseas postage..

Oh yeh fly eyes (better than spraying I was basically saying spraying looks crap lol!) and they are MOT proof too. I saw them on Tony (jamiebennet81) Passat at Edition but not convinced myself looks a bit odd think i may go with tint film but not sure if it is legal!

yeh exactly but good to see others waste money first and decided they are not for me lol! hard to tell from pics looked totally different in person.

depends...if you do it properly, there are no bubbles or sharp bits and looks like a complete tinit not a honeycomb effect

Hey there, just been reading through the last couple of pages of your thread (the thought of 49 pages is abit daunting! lol) Just wondering how you got the battery cover to work? I tried ordering one but none made for the facelift & apparently the old one doesnt fit due to some fuses, surely its easy enough to cut abit out or whatever?

Oh & i was thinking the other day about painting the surround of my grille in red to go with the strut brace i recently fitted, what colour did you use?

Car is looking well :D

hello mate, the battery cover never did fit! Think i mentioned that in the thread...the facelift has a fuse attachement that prevents the cover fitting...bit of a shame coz it look good.

I bought the grill off another forum member so dont know on the colour
sorry

update...

car is now out of warranty...:(

however...flew through its MOT and no problems with decat etc...

lost half my splitter in some ice related drama but new one is purcahsed but wont be fitted untill winter is over!

Brakes will need doing in another few thousand miles so will fit 312mm calipers then...and wheel will be refurbed and I'm going to try out a red lip with motorbike tape...might look tacky? but its cheap!
