LCR 225 2005 model - TCS/ESP light stuck on

the ESP light stays on. I've tried the switch (by the handbrake) several times and it has no effect.

is this serious, whats the solution? is it a sensor broken?

Typical, just when i need it in the bad weather!

get it vag comed mate. itl tell you which sensor it is thats gone. i had a nitemare with my last leon as the lateral acceleration one had gone. was 100 odd quid for the part not easy to fit and needeed to be callibrated after fitting.
could be numerous things though.
hope its better news for you than it was for me.

do you have access to it.
If your near me or fancy a drive ill read it for you.
It may well just be something intermittant and just need resetting.

actually I'm now in New Mills. I was in west Sussex but got fed up with all the roads being full - man y more great driving roads up here.

The lights now gone off after a short drive!
