How did you do the chrome grill surround?
Did you spray it? and if so, does the surround come off the easily?? :)

Cars looking mint now by the way, leon alloys looking OEM ;)
 
Vinyl wrapped the surround, it's pretty easy to get off the grille, once you have the grille off the car you'll see the clips that hold on the chrome.

So all in all it's easy for wrap it or paint it.

Thanks for the comments, I love the Leon alloys - they look way better than I had imagined, even with the photoshops my brother did!
 
Mark, have you considered the mk5 polo rear wiper? You have one like on the Fabia vRS.. I think I may get one for mine, or dewiper mine soon..

Your car looks..... Mint mate!! If I havent already said earlier.. When lowered, I swear.. It will be PERFECT.. if you get a polo rear wiper, that is :)

Speak to DPM about the JOM coilovers for the Mk5. A friend of mine bought a set of their Blueline coilovers for his E46 325Ci, I was skeptical about their quality at first with them being a budget coilover but I was actually amazed at how comfortable the ride is and how well balanced the car is in the bends too. Even over rough terrain and on the back roads the ride remains firm but smooth and comfortable. I've read several threads on other forums about them, ignoring the usual speculation from the inevitable "know it alls" who have never actually fitted them, anyone who has fitted them has nothing but good things to say. Just an idea ;) They're £290 delivered to NI, thinking about getting a set for my own as soon as the money situation improves

Haha that is weird - I only noticed i hadn't replied when I was clearing out my gmail inbox and saw the email for this!

Thinking of around a 30mm drop, should look pretty nice, especially when i get the 17's refurbed.

I've all these plans, but finding the cash and time is the hard part!!!

Bloody tell me about it.. Its all about money with cars.. Well, if you have a dirty diesel getting 50mpg, your laughing, you will change your oil more often than filling your car with fuel :)

No worries - yeah you just create a post saying you'd like a price for a FR gille for a mk5 Ibiza, and he'll get back to you. I think its around £48 or something. Then you can pay by paypal and he'll send it out.

David is the guy who runs the parts department there! He's a sound guy and gives great discounts, as you can see a lot of people on the forum get their parts from him.
