Yeh not likin the idea of going up to 70mm tho lol and 40mm thats jus wrong. This build hasnt set me back much to be fair. I paid £250 to get my front end sprayed dude

how low is it at the moment? i thought 70-80mm was loads

I havent lowered mine yet, but want to, was thinking of just getting the springs but my shocks are getting to worn i think
I want coilovers but dont have the money for them yet!

I had to higher her abit for rtts the weekend to get all the camping stuff in she is about 110mm on rear and 100ish on front

Yeh mate fully adjusatble from -20mm to -120mm There jus ebay speicals Ta technics there £185

Dont forget when it comes to coilovers:

a) You get what you pay for
b) What do you want them for? Eg. To slam the car on it's arse or for actual handling improvment for track or fast road abuse?

When I 1st lowered my car on FK Highsports (£500) I just slammed my car, thinking lower is better (range -20 to -120mm) and when I waited to raise them because the car was toooooo low and couldn't, I brought Bilstein B14 Coilovers (£900 odd) and they only lowered the are up to -60mm or -80mm can't remember.

I thought my FK's were stiff untill I tooko the car for a spin with the Bilstein's on and found what they were stiff and the FK's were as soft as a teddy bear!

I'm not saying the TA's are crap because I haven't driven a car with them fitted but the differance between the FK's to the Billies showed to me in build and performance!

yeh as dinky dave said u get what ya pay for me and 3 others i know i running TA'S and have no issues with them i greesed up the thread on mine so i can still adjust them. I brought mine simple to slam the car on its ass plus its jus a sweet budget build. There is no way on this earth i am paying the same price i paid for my car on coilovers

thanks for the info lads, I'm just looking to drop it a bit, not really looking to go to any track days in it because I don't want to break it lol.
I first thought of getting just the lowering springs but my shocks are really bouncy, every time I go round a sharp bend there's always a scraping sound from the back wheels rubbing the arches, also if theres someone sitting at the back its even worse, especially going over speed bumps

Cheers guys i ad to knock her up a few notchs on the coilovers as ive been up and down the country with all me camping/show stuff in so gonna take her down a couple more mm when i get chance. Its amazing how low u can go without spacers on. All about the tuck for the moment anyway. My mates arnt no where near as low as mine and they rip spliters off and get scrubage not me jus keeps goin no issues. lol
