both lambdas fitted in the same location in the narrow section of the pipe?
not where I would have put it..

Couldnt see anywhere else to put it without fouling anything

I basically used RobbieC pictures for inspiration as he has his in the same place

Where would you have put it, nearer the top?

Thread on downpipe is sorted, just had it cleaned up etc

Sensor and blank screw in perfectly now

Header tank arrived

Started to wrap the downpipe but gave up, the stainless ties are absolutely crap and the dont hold the wrap very well so struggled to get it tight.

Might just put some on the gear lines which are melting and leave it at that

cant you just use a jubilee clip top and bottom mate? they should hold well

Use jubilees, or you're using the metal tie wraps incorrectly, I found the eBay ones that came with the wrap are really good, you kind of tigthen them and pull them back on themselves?

Got a couple of Jubilees spare and they actually work alot better imo

Bit itchy now though, should have wore gloves i think

good work mate should be sorted soon then ?

Thanks mate, this weekend it will be all done :D

Update Time!

Everything has been refitted today, downpipe, turbo etc no leaks or anything so all good there.

Wideband is fitted and working

Just got to fit the rest of the exhaust tomorrow and its back!

Ill get some pics up sometime over the weekend

And new wound courtesy of this car lol, sliced a huge chunk out of my thumb this time and now have a square ended thumb!

Changed my gauge plans again too, getting a cupra r holder now to house the wideband etc

Back on the road now

Managed to get the Blueflame to sit alot better this time too :D

Fuel pump was certainly the cause of my lean running

Wideband is reading .84 at WOT in 4th gear (Lambda reading) which is better than the 1.02 reading on the rr day before the fuel pump was fitted

AFR reading are in the 11's too

Finally mounted my wideband properly, i was against using the cupra r holder because i like to use the centre console for storage etc

After finally deciding to keep the heater aswell i was running out of option so i came up with this

Took one dash mount pod

IMG_0303.jpg

Mounted it upside down at the front of the centre storage compartment.

I actually love the positioning as the holder is adjustable left and right, up and down etc so i can tilt it to a much better position than the cupra r holder :D

Looks tidy too imo

Theres enough space for at least 3 down there, i mounted mine a bit more central as its the only gauge ill be using down there.

Best this of all is you can adjust the pods to sit in whatever position you want which is another reason i did it instead of the cupra r holder.

Do it :D

I like that actually :), I need to get some pictures of my Zeitronix system install.

Berg, did the studs/ nuts fit?

Definately get some pics up mate ;)
