Ive decided im going to go hybrid now.

I think it was the manifold making that noise after all went out again today and noticed the crack was bigger than i thought!!

Put loads of paste on and there was no noise lol

Going to start buyin some bits for hybrid very soon.

If the tip will still fit a hybrid (which it should) then im still interested Joe.

What sizes are the hoses on your tip, 70mm all the way?

You will have to move the abs unit, lower the shift bracket and modify the hardpipe under the turbo if you want too fit a bigger TIP.

Was a nightmare on the K04 cant imagine it being very fun on a k03!

Glad nothings wrong internally, could of been mega $$

Sounds good, yer be easy enough but it should be a direct fit, ill just need to tell CR ill be using a k03 tip.

Its not as big as the 3" one you have mate, pretty sure joe fitted without having to move/modify anything?

Sure he will clarify though ;)

Yer it could have ended up costing a fair amount so thats a good thing, ill definately be getting some IE rods though to unleash its full potential.

Done my battery relocation yesterday

Hardest part was routing the 0awg cable but its all hidden under the carpet now, to my suprise the car started first time lol

Also done my catch tank, at the minute i have no place for the tank so i have the hose down the wing and tied to one of my intercooler pipes at the bottom instead of going to a tank.

Was a little bit worried about it picking up rain water or spray etc off the road??

Also after reading about people saying how hard the pvc valve was to remove i was shocked at how easy mine came off lol, i had all the standard hosing and pvc off within 5 minutes.

I have some pics to upload soon

Pipe checking tonight methinks!! Forgotten again, sorry mate :(

Sky noob!! ;) Freeview for me :)

Get some pics up, interested in this.

As for the catch tank, mine vents straight from the rocker cover to the floor, pressure goes the other way, no chance of picking up rain water.

Funny you mention this as I was thinking about it the other day.. are you 100% that it doesnt breath 2 ways? as I am not sure...
I really didnt like the idea of running it open ended, didnt want to just bung a filter on the end as it will clog up and not allow it to beath.
I just gave up thinking in the end and decided to modify and fit my catchtank.

Btw you said "straight from the rocker cover to the floor" whats happening with the crankcase breather???

Pretty sure it's only out as it's breathing fumes from the engine, even so it's blow by gases and not as high pressure at all. If it was reversed the pressure wouldn't be enough to suck it from the floor all the way to the top of the engine.

By straight to the floor I meant via a Y piece from crankcase too.

Berg, the pipe you need is a 50mm metal joiner, so if you have a 50mm alloy pipe that will do :) beats the Wickes mastic plastic joiner
