One thing i do like on the copper version is the aluminium foot rest, is it a easy job to switch out the plastic one and replace with the aluminium one?

Anybody know the part number for the aluminium one?

Now this isn’t a dig guys.. so bear with me!..
It seems most people on this thread are leasing cars, not buying them. If your leasing, and the car arrives slightly different to your order ie, missing things, and you’ve waited ages for it.. can’t you just argue to pay less money per month on your lease..? Rather than talking about cancelling and waiting another 4-6 months or however long it takes to sort a replacement?

Obviously if your buying it, and it’s not right, you’d be upset and want it right which I understand.

It’s a shame either way, WLTP has caused no end of issues.

I imagine a left hand drive foot rest won’t fit a right hand drive car.

Not sure its build week 42 thing. All the images we've seen so far have been of LHD cars.

The aluminum dead pedal was available on previous versions.

SEAT didn't put them on the RHD cars. It'll be a different VAG part number for the RHD.

Not seen any reviews or videos on the MY19 yet. I'm quite suprised.

How are you finding yours?

I've been in this exact situation with VWFS. Ordered a manual 300 last October and it turned up in Feb without a panroof and SS.

Because my deal was based on the £249 deposit and 23x£249 , by the time it arrived that campaign was over. They had to raise a new quote based on the current spec of that car using the new campaign which was more expensive.

It wasn't straight forward and they needed to get authorisation to give me the same price as before.
So I thought I may as well get my car reordered at the same price. They've let me keep my existing lease at a reduced rate until it arrives - no brainier for me.

It's only just being built this week.

The only aluminium dead pedal for RHD is aftermarket.

Even the 45k RS3 doesn’t come with a aluminium dead pedal in right hand drive...

I haven't actually seen an official one that I know of. All I've seen is the official LHD and they've been around for a while.

I was just suggesting that if there was it'd be a different part number, and it's not week 42 thing.

Thanks for the confirmation.

I don't blame you

I'm still playing the waiting game. It's being built this week due early December.

I
I've done 500 miles in mine already :help:
I think mine will have done nearly 500 miles by the time I get it! the letters from the Registration plate show up as Leeds and I live near Glasgow, the car gets driven to my address for delivery! luckily it doesn't come off my allowance, atleast the car will be almost ran in meaning lots of fun quicker than expected

Finally... delivery scheduled for Tuesday!!
Been a long 14day wait for the cooling off period to expire

Just insured the beast with ensure, usual scenario insured as 300 with 290 on the notes.

£521.91 33 years young with 3yrs NCB.
Was hoping to pay less but it’s best I can get without insuring as Cupra 300.

I've sent my initial order request to all vehicle contracts just this evening, see what they come back with hopefully soon, how did you find they were Scotty? When did you place your order?

@st.tony I signed the contract on 30th October, everything went pretty quickly from there (getting finance approved etc.) and I've now been handed from a sales person to a customer services person, but they were off a few days this week, just waiting to hear back if the car has actually been ordered yet or not. Expecting delivery end of February, maybe early March, but they're delivering to my door which is a nice plus as the Seat dealership lease deals didn't include delivery.
