it needs a new alternater aswel so costin a few bit in the next few months

On a serious note, I think the ED30's look nicer than the Mk5 R32!!!! And will be cheaper to run too.
I'd have thought if your flywheel was gonna give you jip, it'd be getting vocal and juddering by now. Which is what mine started doing. Hence, hybrid and SMF route. Then sold it less than a year later
