Well as you do, I was browsing pistonheads.com out of interest for what price range my car was selling for etc, when something caught my eye which looked different then the rest, and had things I hadn't seen done before on a Cupra.

After telling the girlfriend about the car and that I would want mine to look like that, she said later that she had been in contact with the owner about the car, and that he would of been willing to sell the wheels and customised bonnet bra separately.

With this in mind I strangely couldn't stop thinking about the car, so decided to go a step further, and ask more about the car and its history. Then after a very long week of waiting, I ended up with these...

Which after a painful and long 5 hours and 35 minutes, got us to here...

And this is what we were greeted with :)

Being very happy with the car and its service history etc, an offer was made and accepted. Then the 5 hour drive commenced which wasn't as boring as I imagined as the car drove absolutely lovely and even on coilovers was very comfy. The drive home took the mileage too....

Looks alot fresher and less "busy" as people were saying lol, next will be changing the intercooler front hoses colour and swapping the plate over, along with the hunt for different window stickers (if anyone knows where to get any euro ones?) and winding the coilovers down :)

Yeah when the bumper was off doing the headlights you could see how faded they were!

Plus I don't like the red that much anyway, so its rather black or yellow hoses I think, but I need to find out the sizes and bends of them first (anyone have any ideas?)

Thanks for the praise dude, I will be doing the plate this thursday as its my private one :D
