I changed the headlights yeah but from my old Cupra as they were better condition and HID's all in there still etc

6000k HID bulbs to replace the bluey 8000k chavy look
Black 57mm 90' & 40 ' hoses from Forge

Anyway, had a bit of problem getting in my garage (note the back wheel off the floor, it was rocking lol!)

I do love it to bits! many other cars I'd like but everytime I take this for a "spirited drive" I seem to change my mind :p

lovely car mate, seriously smart looking, would love to own something like that :D

sweet motor mate. where did the rear lights come from or are they sprayed?

i read that you buy clear rear lights, then spray them with the red tinting spray, i remember some guy did half sprayed (bottom half) top half still clear, looks like what the VW boys do to their golf mk1/2's

Looking really nice on those d90's!

Cheers pal, although I do get the "common" comments pop up!

Nice Cupra mate,i remember seeing this in Lincoln this year, when it belonged to somebody else.
I'm not to keen on the c u p r a badge on the back but each to there own.
D90's suite it well. Anymore updates ?

Yeah used to be in lincoln and owned by a lad name Kris Ashton, i was like that with the CUPRA badge but kind of like it and think without it I wouldnt be sure lol

Fitted the "S" Grill back in but had to get rid of the chrome as I hate it

DSC04337.jpg

Gave the engine a clean up
DSC04341.jpg

Then after months of putting it off got round to fitting the Cupra R gauge holder for the centre console and smoked autogauge's

S7003347.jpg

But they didn't fit, hence the dremel lol

Sorted! :) Brings a nicer feel to the interior and will be looking into actually making them read but need a few bits for that first

Ok..... so the iPod story lol, it ended up a complete NIGHTMARE, the kit I got all worked fine but it mean't connecting the iPod to the CD changer connection, all sounds fine to me..... apart from the CD Changer is in the boot! And i'll be ****ed if i'm having my nano 5th gen bouncing around the boot lol

soooo, some slight trim removal later
S7003320.jpg

where this plug (why SEAT never fitted a normal lead instead of wires that are part of the cars loom i'll never know!!)
S7003330.jpg

disappeared down the 1/4 panel
S7003325.jpg

and under the seats and door card
S7003332.jpg

it then went down the sill and into the wiring for the seats airbag! so out came the seat and lots of carpet

S7003338.jpg

and then finally to the front
S7003339.jpg

where it went behind the dash
S7003340.jpg

few bits of wiring here and there

and alot of time swearing, equals
DSC04916.jpg

It was a pain really but it was so worth it in a million ways, better quality than the orignal VW cd changer and it is all operational through the standard OEM headunit :) thanks to my darling GF for this ;)

As winter set in, doing bits on the car was not really on my to-do list!

DSC04906.jpg

DSC04915.jpg

So the car lived like this for a while lol
S7003367.jpg

Polished wheel's don't approve of this, and left me with this... bearing in mind this is after a good wash :|
DSC05139.jpg

DSC05142.jpg

Alot of metal compound, tech wax and an aching arm, they all looked good again
DSC05143.jpg

Because of this.... i'm going to look into winter wheels I think lol as **** doing that again!

Gave the car a good machine polish yesterday to :)
