Recent updates include fitted by JKM

Powerflex torque arm mount (Dog Bone insert fitted)

powerflex18t.gif

What does it do?

Under hard acceleration, your entire engine and transmission actually rotates due to compliance in the factory bushings. While the soft factory bushings do a good job of dampening engine vibration, they can also create a rubbery, vague response in the vehicle's powertrain.
Powerflex offers a set of polyurethane bushings to go into your car's lower engine torque arm. The torque arm connects the front subframe to the bottom of the car's transmission. With the Powerflex bushings installed, your shifts will feel more crisp and defined

and both top mounts replaced there was a bit of play in them so happy with it for now :)

hi mate

not had full machine polish yet professionally

But i think the best way to remove swirls from a black car is the following

When cleaning the car hose it down first with water from hose not pressure washer

then use wash & wax in a bucket apply with sheep wool mitt

then dry off with megulars drying towel

then use quick detailer to remove all water marks from paint

then i polish the car with general polish all over only use micro fibre cloths asda sell 6 for £3

then i wax the car with collinite wax 4768

if you want to take control of swirls i would also t-cut the entire car after the quick detail stage then polish then wax

lots of places online sell the above worth getting a small kit together nothing OTT and doing it week in week out as i do the results will be a gloss black car with loads of shine

hello mate,
fantastic read....congrats on your car!
ive been with revo for a few years now and agree that their customer service is fantastic - they are right about the CF's etc...

just a heads up,
one thing i would advise is that you data log your car often for CF readings.
mines has been increasing over the past year or so for no apparent reason - could be a number of reasons.
ive got a suspicion my coil packs or spark plugs might be on their way out - ive decreased my timing and boost until i investigate
better safe than sorry :)

been a while since any action on this thread

jetex cone and jabba sport heat shield fitted with extender pipe to the wing done! what a difference and lovely noise

new thermostat fitted as mine failed and changed all the coil packs as no.1 popped last week so 2,3,4 also been replaced before they go pop as well

new cupra r badges all round done! as old ones were turning white

JKM checked the car over and it looks like it won't pass an mot at the mo suggested jobs i need sorting are: (im going for updated parts over standard)

1. To supply and fit the Front anti roll bar with an Eibach 25mm anti roll bar and performance poly bushes

2. To supply and fit the front Wishbone rear bushes (both sides) with Powerflex performance poly bushes

3. To supply and fit the inner CV boot

4. X1 rear tyre needs changing so i will change both tyres boo! and may get the wheels refurbed again at the same time

so still not got the Liquid gauge or Forge wheel spacers sorted yet it also needs another run on AMD's rollers i think if i can find a revo sps cheap enough that will be on the list see how well the map has adapted!

Good news as JKM said the car felt really good and strong to drive so thats always good to hear no fault codes to report!

Still growing my money tree mean time for the list above :D

oh and the tint place have a photo of my car up now in their gallery only a light oem tint but looks dark in the unit photo :D

http://www.twilighttint.co.uk/gallery.html#Seat/1

they did a fantastic job of removing the old tint i had and redoing it properly!

bit scary that day as they made me remove all the boot trim and take off the rear spoiler before they started work! was not an easy job! seats are built to well and it took a huge amount of effort to remove everything

but very pleased with the end results
