i dont need the resistor right if i only take the incoming hose for the n249 and split that to the DV ?

but appearently that does not work good for my car ? it first chokes and en let off some air

Correctly if you leave the N249 in place especially the electrical connection you don;t need a resistor.

Btw BOV and LCR dont really go well together, more trouble than there work IMO, there are a few that work.

Danny is selling one that has been proven to work well.

Right Im gonna get on this, can you just confirm what pipe size and what other parts to use? Plus where does the pipe go that you take from the side of the n249, to replace the whole lot rather than join?

do guys have any links on where you bought the hoses and T splitters ? i am thinking off taking it off the FPR now.

But before i took the hose that came directly from the inlet to the n249. and it did not work that way, it was not getting enough vaccuum it seemed, like it was choking...

BTW i just saw this post was adressed to me, did not thought so because you where talking about a BOV.

The Synapse BOV is also mountable as a Divertervalve :D thats what i did. in the bottom u can get a extra flange with the excact measurment of the VAG hoses. when people use them as BOV they leave this flange out and just leave it open..

Shame i cannot get on E-bay on my work here. but i will look at it..

turbo009, it can use it to cut boost when the traction control kicks in. Not sure if it does anything else, but I'm skeptical too.

i treid it once now, little hesitation of trying it again.. my car did not blow off properly without the n249 fitted, it sounded like it had vaccuum in it and no blow off sound. Tested it with the 007 and the synapse...

I'm half thinking of reversing mine, when the turbo is making any more than minimal boost there's a strange sound as it dumps. That said, my current turbo is dying rapidly anyway so maybe it's the state of the turbo rather than the bypass...

OK I had the turbo changed recently but the valve still sounds a bit strange when dumping - anyone else notice the DV sounds different with the N249 bypassed? I reversed the bypass for a bit and the DV sound went back to normal...

Yeah I put the bypass back again and it's still doing it so think I'll put the N249 back in place - can't honestly say I felt any benefit from bypassing it tbh.
