If so could I ask what settings you are running on your Revo Select Plus Switches?

mine are set up as:

Setting 1 is B7 T4 F7 (General / very hot weather)
Setting 2 is B8 T5 F6 (Fast road / daily driver setting)
Setting 3 is B9 T5 F5 (Track day)

Revo Stg2+
OEM exhaust
HPFP
ITG CAI
NGK Iridium BKR8EIX

Just be interested to see what everyone else is running across the 3 settings, and as their daily setting.

Thanks in advance,

Warren

Im glad you bought this up Warren. I have just been having a play with different settings on a Leon Cupra which up till now was set up at B8T5F7.

But with the cooler weather we are seeing of late i tried B8T6F6 and B9T5F6 which after a bit of logging looked pretty healthy. The only thing that concerned me were the exhaust gas temperatures (EGT's) which seemed a little high for my liking. I have asked Revo for their opinion on them but they haven't got back to me yet.

Obviously you have to bear in mind that every car performs differently, but it would be insteresting to see peoples full spec along with VCDS logs on different Revo settings.

Rob and Poverty, are you both running uprated intercoolers?
Its pretty pointless comparing settings on cars with different mods which is why specs and logs need to be shown really.

im on the standard. Lately people have been saying that upgrading to the S3 is pointless, and the twintercooler also has its flaws.

My settings are as what revo recommended.

Greece, Athens
Everyday settings
Boost=9
Timing=7
Fuel=9

I don't own a select switch as I cannot justify its price here in Greece, plus I only find it useful for the valet/anti-theft modes. I leave the BTF settings to those who know better.

The S3 intercooler upgrade is not pointless. There are definite improvements over the OEM core when its fitted. I have logs to prove it.

These concern me too seeing I am running OEM exhaust, and the heat dissipation won't be as good with the restrictive piping. Bet my exhaust valves aren't enjoying life!

And how do you have stage2+ with OEM exhaust??
isn't necessary at least a downpipe+cat for that?

thats good to hear then as I was gonna go down that route. Some people over on mk5gti are adamant its pointless though for some reason.

Al, would you recommend the S3 as an upgrade then? I'm torn between the S3, the Forge Twintercooler and the THS one as i'm yet to see logs to compare the three.
