I saw this done a while back but all the buttons down the side of the display sceen had been removed and smoothed, looked loads better.

imo its far neater than having it put in the dash and it very easy to fit and is easy to return to standard

Having to volume knobs i'd always be turning the wrong one!

I'd smooth the rest off as it's not needed, plus a new facia panel can't be too difficult to source.

right i got a question, what happens to buttons to alter the time etc when you cut away the unit to fit a head unit?

Can you alter the time on vag com if you disconnect the battery?
