Problem: Car not running right.

do you have or know someone that has VAG COM, you don't always get a warning light if it goes into limp mode. Get someone to scan for fault codes if you can.

well its been to the garage and they have cleared it all so think its not in limp mode, but dont know anyone with vag com, looking into getting it myself now tho.

Engine trouble.

Just needing abit of help to identify a problem with my LCR. The car will runs smoothly just the turbo doesn't seem to kick in (boost). i have checked the turbo turbines (end float) and there is no oil where there shouldn't be. Also in neutral the car will not rev over 5500rpm.

please help people.

just don't know where to look next and if it just a sensor that has gone? the garage has checked the ecu and there is nothing wrong and the ecu light isn't on the dash.

Get vag com on it and log boost v's revs
Let us see whats happening

no can't hear the turbo spool up the garage put there computer on it and said everything is ok with the ecu

Yup the engine and ecu could be fine but logging boost v's revs will let us see if all is well with the turbo
The garage wouldn't do this.

hey i am having a problem with my LCR just of power like the turbo isn't spooling up. been too two garages one said turbo and the other said ecu?????? the car will not rev over 5500rpm but however the car runs and drives ok just not the LCR that it was a week ago. i did have a coolant sensor go but it ran fine for ages i have now changed that befor eit went into the second garage and like i said they think its the ecu..

need help badly
