Well guys, it's not good news.
Went to my local dealer, mentioned that my R badges look old and tired. One of the guys came & had a look at my motor, said he had seen worse for the year of car. When asked are they covered under warranty he said that Seat wouldn't replace them as they weren't bad enough (surprising considering on the n/s front you could hardly see the red any more).
He mentioned, usually what happens is they take pictures and send them to Seat UK and hope they replace them. Apparantly you can be waiting upto 4-5 weeks, said couldn't be bothered to wait that long only for them to say no.
So brought the badges only £21.00 and just spent the last hour removing the old and putting on the new ones. Looks fantastic now.
Well it's worth a try maybe trying to get them replaced under warranty, but i wouldn't hold your breath. They might be happier to replace on a newer car.
But did get some luck, while at the garage saw the local Chipsaway van so popped over and had a word with the guy if he could look at my rear door, as the previous owner didn't do a very good job touching in a car park scratch.
He must of put the paint on to thick, as stood out and always bothered me.
He put some cutting paste on it and used a bit of wet & dry, and hay presto completely gone.

And only cost me a fiver!! Very happy bunny.
Hope you guys have better luck with your badges.
