i must say hidsons in rainham kent have been superb, i went down with a remote key that was not working i went there to change the battery and one of the staff were helpfully unhelpful, and he kind of made the situations worse but they did not hesitate to order me a new key free of charge and code they key to my car also while i swas down there told me my car needed a recall which is also free
what o top company and very friendly staff

These guys, just cant do enough, so laid back but really know there stuff. If it wasnt for them, I wouldnt have got this car, not the detail they have gone to. Its the small things in life that leave a long lasting impression, I cant complain at all, perfect!

Ibiza Sport

Great Dealer, a family business. This our third car from them and have recommended friends to go there. Sales staff, David Brown especially, are great and are not on commission so no hassle. Service Dept are great Manager is Sandy a top man! No probs with repairs or warranty issues, courtesy cars always available, and no I don't work for them.

I'm goin over to Seat from Peugeot for the first time and pick up my Ibiza from this dealer tomorrow. I agree with Paul re the salesmen.....no pressure whatsoever. What a difference from the other showrooms where they are jumping over each other to get commision.
My salesman was Alex White, very friendly & nothing was too much trouble for him. I just hope the car lives up to the reputation.

Got my new Ibiza

Well, i've finally got my ibiza 1.4 sport after 4 week wait. Main problem was the work to rule at the DVLA which held up the taxation for 7 working days!
Really nice car, just hope the weather picks up so I can take the wife out for a wee spin to the coast at the weekend.

JCT600 Leeds

I recently traded in my Ibiza FR 1.8T for an 05 plate Leon Cupra R 225 from JCT600 Leeds. I was impressed with the sales executive (Steve Dobson) who I dealt with and couldn't fault their service. Also had a nice surprise that they'd replaced all discs and pads plus two front tyres free of charge on the car when I'd agreed with them just to have the one front tyre replaced two weeks earlier after a test drive. All in all well worth the 100+ mile drive there and back.

So I've had the car now since Saturday afternoon and enjoyed every drive so far apart from kerbing an alloy today squeezing past a parked car on my road. Gutted.

Best of luck with the aftercare side of things fella-There is a reason that Bradford JCT 600 lost its SEAT service-They were dire!!-and that is speaking from experience. JCT 600 Leeds were a little better, but dropped one of my LCR alloys on the floor whilst it was being serviced, then touched it up with a brush and aslo marked the car and never said anything. I have not used Leeds for many years now so hopefully some of the staff may have changed in the service department
Good to hear about the sales side of things as they were always spot on for me too-very helpfull

I really need to recommend Specialist Cars Seat dealership in Aberdeen. They were so helpful despite having to wait 5 weeks from deposit to full payment. Not pushy at all and just gave us 2 test drives to make up our mind. Now have a gorgeous 07 Leon FR DSG and servicing prices look really fair too

Top service. Amazing showroom. Apparently a one off design that SEAT are thinking of making the new image! Staff all very helpful (although lots of new faces from last time). Met the DP. Nice chap. Asked where they all were to be told he had a new improved team. It certainly seemed so!

Nidd Vale Motors, Harrogate, N Yorks

Picked up Candy White FR Tdi with 18s 10 days ago from Nidd Vale Motors in Harrogate, N Yorks. Looked immaculate in the dealership (a tad filthy by the time we got home though - hopefully the Auto Glym Life Shine protection will come into it's own!).
Must say that it was nice to deal with a salesman who really knew his stuff , in fact probably the most knowledgeable I've ever bought a car from - and I've bought a few...
We struck a deal on the 10th Dec, the car was sourced immediately and we picked it up on the 23rd. A big thanks to Julian Earl for his attention to detail and for keeping us up to speed on progress.

Just thought I'd say how impressed I've been with Phil Martin at Westerham Seat, I've just bought a used leon from him and have been nothing but impressed. He did my plate transfers though for me (at cost) and amongst the few other things we agreed to do before I purchased, he has also said that he will make the 150 mile round trip to me to drop off the engine cover that was missing on his day off.

Well and truly recommended (and they've got a cool old old car in the garage!)

Wiltshire & Sons Farnham

These guys are still pretty straight. I've had 4 or 5 cars from them now. Pretty satisfied.

Took my Cupra Mk2 in at 1500 miles to get the suspension looked at ( a la Clarkson - ride was like falling downstairs) and some squeaks & rattle sorted. They adjusted the ride blocks (?) and it's hugely better without compromising handling. Also sorted out rattle in NS side airbag area.

Finally my new cupra is as much fun as the old one (just uglier) even ifit feels slower while being both faster & quicker.

Meadens Sway in New Milton and APD : Wareham

SEAT Sway : New Milton the New Forest are Part of the Meadens group. They have main dealerships in Bournemouth and at Sway. They are fanatastic and have always done me proud. However now my Cupra R is over three years old I am using a VAG Specialist. Paul at APD in Wareham is the Doctor. The quality of service is awesome. He has serviced my car today the full 40K for a very good price ! Money aside , he knows his stuff and is a blimmin nice chap. I trust him and feel he is an expert in providing a quality service. He has done quite a lot ot my Cupra R and will do a lot more, I have recommended my friends to him and he is great with them as well. So.............. SWAY are great , but the Specialists can be as good or as in this case maybe even better.

Johnson, Braintree Essex

I have to say the customer service, and knowledge from the chaps at Johnson, in Braintree is outstanding.

I've recently had new brakes and discs all round (second mortgage required )60K service, Cambelt and upgraded water pump... and new badges stuck on.

Gill, sure that's his name, humblest apologies if I got it wrong is so knowledgeable, and with the smile from Claire in servicing, gives Johnson a big thumbs up

I see someone has already mentionned these guys but just wanted to agree.
I bought a used car from them and even though they were not the nearest I was so impressed with them that I continued to take it there for servicing. They picked up items that needed replacing under warranty that I had not noticed myself and got it all sorted. They also run a courtsey minibus service that drops off/picks up in Lincoln at a time to suit you. If I hadnt moved I'd still be using them today.

I'd been there befoe for parts for my old Toledo TDi and they were fantastic, especially Darren on the parts desk who knows his SEATS. They also fixed a fault on it when my local VW dealer and local independant failed to and cost me an arm and a leg in the process.

Anyway, I spotted another Toledo in there a week or so ago to replace my Mondeo which was garbage. I got a great part ex price, the car was very well prepared as well.

Recently I decided to have the tyres replaced and they beat everyone else on price!!

You really can't ask for better than this, it isn't a big flash dealership like Hobins in Preston, but they REALLY make up for it in customer service. TBH, the service I received there before was part of the reason for going back to SEAT.

I bought my car from Julian last September. When I picked it up it had some lacquer problems which I spoke to service about for the warranty claim. After service pretty much never came back to me I asked Julian about it and he jumped on it and it's now booked in.
