You don't need to reset it, it will reset after a couple of hours normal driving. You may notice slightly rough tickover until it resets, but that will clear itself up.

Yep, he is right, the guy specialises in vag cars

It's not the closest for me to get to him but I wouldn't go anywhere else now
perfect for us in south Wales
 
Guys we used to think that a TB reset could be done in the same way as an ECU reset, we were wrong on this (as proved by a video of the throttle when doing this, then with doing it with VAG com).
The ONLY way to do this is with vag com
 
anyone looked into taking this further, i.e. throttle body sanding/polishing, knife edge throttle plate?
