probably right there stu.... not sure that there will be much left of the chassis legs with an ABF & 020 in tow up front.

6 nice bosses, and some threaded inserts & the subframe's in the boot :)

I don't think that 'nose' heavy is a problem, you can always remove grip from the back to try & balance that out a little.
 
Must admit I did get an idea when a cheap 1l Arosa came up on autotrader. Knock up a spit roast to turn the shell over, cut hole in the boot, plate around the floppy bits, weld in the the mounts for the subframe and the front crossmember you could ad-lib, drop in the engine and plumb it all in

job done - just a question of time more then anything!
 
i would but the body work is the reason i got the car, its rusty as hell but the engine is strong which is a shame, and the arosa is caged ready for track
