It was a Supercopa car stripped and fitted with Toledo running gear and some toledo bodywork, SEAT Sport UK wanted to run them in the Supercopa cup but it never got that far.

It wasn't in any way built by SEAT Sport in Spain.

SEAT Sport in Spain were at the same time testing diesel engines ready to race in 2007 WTCC, they ran them 2007-2009 in the end, SEAT Sport UK borrowed diesel engines for BTCC 2008.

Random question, but does anyone want this? It's damaged and they go for pennies on eBay and if anyone has a track build where it doesn't matter so much if it gets scuffed up or something, I'd much rather it's used than end up in landfill.

I'm in Brighton and happy to hold onto it until after the lockdown, but thought I'd put it out there.

Had to take my SMIC out to get at a bolt that snapped inside the map sensor. Absolute PITA and a bit of a nightmare. My buddy had to take an angle grinder to a part of the bolt and slipped, took a dig out the plastic. Only small but has affected the surface of the plastic on the boss. Drilling it out was just as difficult because of the plastic and didnt go great. Managed to thread a screw in just about...another reason to get rid of the unit and get an FMIC asap.

You can put petrol in a TDI and it will run....why does no one do it?

Okay, my friend has a polo gti 1.8t with aprox 250hp and has the same bov for 2-3yrs.

My car runs the same, no check, nothing, im not seeing any relevant reason why i should go to DV. There are many threads online but very few exact issues with it, its mostly theories.
Prove me wrong i would gladly put a dv. I would try aftermarket dv but not at the moment anyway.

As you all know I am building a rather different leon for racing. Just f8n8shed stripped the front doors and realised I need the bit where you would put the key.. but I want one from the passenger side or rear so I don't have a key lock in the door handle... is any one breaking one or got one laying about by any chance. Will pay and for postage unless your close ish then I'll pop over and pick it up if poss

looking for cheap ebay FMIC kits and found This for a mk4 golf.

Core size looks good, 2.5 outlets with a reducer and map boss...

All the pipes look like the routing to fit an AUQ, what do peeps think?

I was going to get a core and do the piping myself but...

Shame its all blacked out :/ . Cant stand the pipes being painted!

The pipe to the TB looks a different shape though so maybe the Golf one wouldnt have fit. Hmm..
Ignore me, they have a silver one listed on their store page. Exactly the same as the golf one T_T

Oh well, looks like ill have a fmic sorted for when R tech reopen :D

I will eventually, its only a daily.

Got the 312 discs and carriers to go on front, might if I can find some though, fit the SEAT Sport AP Ibiza Cupra calipers with them.

The black is actually better for thermal efficiency plus looks more OEM big shiney front mounts look garbage.
