Found a nomad pillar pod in FR grey so snatched it up and fitted it. much better spot than the vent
Nothing exciting, just a couple of bolts and washers from an X5.
The buying experience was very different from VAG tho, no "Oh that'll be 3-5 days", this time it was "By 12 on Monday"

My build thread is updates with pics and close ups
Fitted Heko wind deflectors and dynamic LED wing mirror indicators. Wasn’t that hard to be honest.
Look much much brighter than the originals. Plus, they’re smoked so look pretty much black. So does the small light on the opposite side where the mirror is. Takes a bit of tug to get the caps off to be honest. Quite cheap on eBay to be honest.I need to know more about the indicators...
(Please and thank you)

It worked, i checked your advert out and you have some smart goodies for sale.Yesterday I picked up some parts from @Manic172 (thanks again) and checked out the progress of his beast. It's looking very cool. Seriously, his rear arches are awesome (this is not a euphemism).
Then went to a friends place to check out his new workshop and the rebuild progress of his AE86 rally car. Will be going there more for work on my subframe.
Then started listing stuff from my parts spring clean in the For Sale section (Shameless Self Promotion time: check it out for some stuff you won't find often).
Today... going to try an experiment which will likely determine the fate of my spare PD150 engine. Pretty relaxed weekend all in really.
Nice and clean is that, like them wheels onit too
thanks mate, got to get some spacers on the front but shes set for a little while. Might look into some skirt extensions and the like soonNice and clean is that, like them wheels onit too
Yeah the leon suits it, I think it looks just enough what you've done obviously spacers on the front, when people camber their motors too look like space ships not into that but urs is nice. Good luck with side skirt extensions don't we all struggle with jacks to begin with the maxton skirts and front splitter does look good thoughthanks mate, got to get some spacers on the front but shes set for a little while. Might look into some skirt extensions and the like soon
wheels are Klutch sl14. 9.5 et20 rears, had to roll the arch a little and add some camber![]()
Truth be told, I'll be wondering why I've still got a car, given I barely drive it at the moment and pay £130 to park it, £225 to insure it and nearly £200 to tax it.Right boys and girls..... we .... well most people have a long week end. What's everybody's plans.
