Yes, venting is not for me.
Under vacuum (cruising) the pcv valve recirculates the fumes and under boost the hockey puck pulls them through and back in to the tip whilst closing the pcv valve.
So all bases are covered as long as you have both valves in place and your catch can (if fitted) is not vented.

. I’m still sure the Oe set up is better some how but it’s 6 of 1 half a dozen of another. I’ve never heard of anyone’s catch can set up causing problems significant enough to damage an engine. I did see you can get a replacement pcv system on eBay for about £30 complete. I’ll see how my oil fares over the summer then look at it again. If it goes bang I’ll write a decent report and we will finally have concrete evidence
