Well, my day's got progressively worse.
I got a few coats out of the cans I bought, but something just wasn't right - the spray wasn't consistent and it was splattering quite a lot. The second can didn't spray at all - it was just like it was building pressure before releasing, but no paint came out. That meant the bumper was... I suppose stripy is the best way to describe it - it just wasn't clean and consistent. I hoped flatting it a little before spraying the clear would help, but I can see it's not going to work.
It's definitely going to show - I can see the imperfections, splatters and the inconsistencies whichever way I look at it.
Sometimes it's best just to call it a day. Wish I'd decided to do that before I pulled the pin on a £20 can of 2K clear.
