Nope- there was no fuse in the kit...might take a look into it though, as it seems to have knocked out my rear nearside indicator for some reason!

Yeah I didn't have any fuses in the kit either and aparantly you dont need them but it tells you to upgrade to 20amp in the instructions?

I had read on here that you don't need it, but then I have probs with the indicator...so might try it tomorrow. I'll let you know

Just read the whole thread, think I might go for these in the new year.

So has anyone failed an MOT on these yet? It seems people are only failing on sidelights!

Think i'd got for 5000K can't see the poin't in having a blue tint to your lights at all ??

Just wish i'd done this back when I bought my Phillips Extreme bulbs. The guy I bought them from had the last set of H7 HIDs sat next to them for almost the same price (£30) but I knew nothing about them.

Anyone get flashed for having them?

I thought 6000k was less blue than 5000k? I read 6000k was best.

Either way the 6000k I have are not in slightest bit blue :)

People seem to say 6000K is 'best' because they want it slightly blue for some reason..

Basically 6000K is just not quite white, anything higher is plain daft

Good to know they pass alright though, I was worried they would throw the pattern off. You have the basic H7s right? Not the H7Rs I don't liek the sound of losing half the light from them, sort of defeats the point..

I have a set of 6000k on my LCR and the wife's car has a set of 5000K. The 6000k has a very slight bluish tint but not too chavish. The 5000k is a very pure white light. No blue and no yellow at all. And because the as the light temp goes up, the light output drops, I find the 5000k slightly, only very slightly brighter. Personally I prefer the 5000k's look on the car but the 6000k produces a more pleasing beam and the road/signs look better.

My HID kit came today and I only ordered it yesterday.

Very good service from this seller

I liked how the bulbs seem to be better than most other kits [metal bases, ceramic insulated] that I looked at and the fact its got a 2 year warranty.

Hopefully get it fitted in next couple of weeks and give a review.

After reading this thread ive ordered the 1s recommended cheers guys will let you know how I get on fitting them if they get here due to this snow !!

You'll have no problems fitting; plug and play really except for drilling the light covers to fit the supplied grommet and hiding the ballasts/wires.

Certainly worth the effort :D

Has anyone any pics of where they have put there ballasts and wiring? It's maybe worth showing other who may not yet have this upgrade yet and are planning to?

I'll get pics up at the weekend, my nearside ballast needs repositioned so after i do this i'll get pics up.
