Where to "T" in for boost gauge

After countless searches just wondering whats the best place to T in for a boost guage

Whats the pros and cons?

Keep hearing a lot about a green nipple is this the one down the left side of engine?

Well just T'd into the pipe that goes to the FPR and seems to have worked but is this the best place?

Mine is t'd into the hose going to the top of the dump valve

Doesn't really matter bud. It is going to be the same around the system.

Just to add I have mine T'd off the dump valve.

Standard? 8-9psi.

Sorry see that your stage 1. Will be whatever they set it to. I would think maybe 20psi?

well that would indicate a problem only getting 10psi that was full throttle in 1st and 2nd

i think thats standard, i only get 10-12psi in 1s and 2nd, 15 in 3rd and 17 in 4th and 5th.

all those are peak figures, after peak it settles @ 15psi.

you wanna worry when its hitting 5psi limp-home.

look for smooth power and nice boost build. if its not settled clean your dv/recirc, try another n75 and possibly the n275 bypass, as those have sorted my dodgy boost. its grrrrrrrreat now!

mines t'd into the fuel pressure regulator tried it on others but got more accurate reading of the fpr

Took my feed from the fpr.

Well not had a motorway run yet but tried in other gears still getting 10psi

Will try the M-Way tonight

most will take it off the dv..
however it is apparently better and more accurate to take off the fpr pipe.

this is the best place

or if like me you have removd the PCV all together i now use the take off point where the PCV valve hose used to go so my dv valve has its very own line
