Don't give me all the credit, I am a semi-cheater! I bought it cheap from a local member from here who now has a rather awesome 400+bhp EVO 8 (jealous) after selling his LCR. It was quite dull looking when I got it so I set to work. I haven't done the brackets though so it may look odd until I can do them.

I guess I need to strip the paint fully, use w wire brush to put it back to bare metal and then polish hard?

Legoman, it's jonjay that I recommended for detailing advice, not jamjay. (I think it's my post your referring to)

I'm sure there will be others that can help tho, if you post over in the detailng section.

Who's to say that we aren't the same person, shape shifters perhaps? :D

I know a fair bit about trying to get Ovni Yellow back to it's orignal self but the short answer is that it's going to keep fading until you get it resprayed and have it protected with UV resistant lacquer. The paint on my roof finally gave in and started to bleach white :(. It's well again now though :D (touch wood).

But yeah, jonjay is the detailing guru you should chat to!

Lol, well put it this way, if I paid RRP for it, i'd never be able to afford it so i'm happy. It now means that I can afford to insure it, MOT it, 4x new tyres (either vredestein ultrac sessanta or toyo t1-r) and brakes all round next month. Then suspension in March, FMIC april, Cat-back, Stage 2 & ARB in May, just in time for a drive to the South of France.
