nice one mate!i was close to getting the original colour but thought nah,il try something different. like the way its turned out for you :)

Fading yellow is like fading a red.....once you get it under artificial light of say a petrol station you'd have wished you'd have gone for the respray.......plus the parts that are not sprayed will still have original crap paint on and will fade at a different rate to the others.

Just my opinion :)

exactly. this was mine before my respray :(

respraying makes a good difference if you have an onvi cupra and want it looking blingin' :)

bloody hell almost looks like a photoshop (mainly cos both taken at a garage!) amazing!! I am too keen on yellow cars tbh but you two make it look good! Get some good quality pics up lol!

different angles so different pics :p kept it in the garage view so you can see the difference.
its not as good in pics to be honest, it sparkles in the sun,and is a mix between orange/gold/yellow. its the megane liquid yellow.

but looking at jamjays onvi respray, i dont think i would have regretted sticking to standard,it looks splendid. im glad iv seen the "could have" scenario :)

Are you comeing to the meet on Saturday mate ?

I hope so Darren, if it's not raining or snowing then I will drag myself along :). I hope it's sunny in the daytime so I can get some more wax down.

I love the colour you have, looks ace in the video you posted with the Civic. Am I the only person to have had my Ovni done in it's original colour? I think most people go for white?

Respray job is looking awesome, really like it
Want those colour wheels too, they look ace!

Thanks very much :). They are Porsche Meteor Grey, a common colour on the 997 Turbo.

Hi all, nearly Christmas so my new goodies will soon be on the car. I have a JETEX filter, joiner and coupler & HIDs under the tree. I did some logs tonight with my Neuspeed filter to try and figure out if my MAF is faulty. These logs will be the base and will show me what needs improving.

I have 0 correction factors across the board which looks good to me but I suspect that my MAF is playing up. As you can see above, my top reading was 201g/s where as last week it pulled 207g/s and before that it was in the 190's so today's logs are a rough average i'd say.

I will do these logs again with the JETEX and see how they fluctuate, obviously if they don't it was the old filter but if they do, then it's new MAF time.

Can anyone notice anything bad about my logs that I haven't spotted?

I'm not sure the MAF will be playing up with a delta (between runs) of ~5-10g/s. I know when I saw logs of knackered MAF's on the Mk3 Ibiza Cupra's they were dropping 25-40g/s (constantly) compared with what a logged car "should" be running.

maybe best to get a second opinion though, I've never actually had a knackered MAF (to my knowledge lol!) so can't really comment! Just wouldn't want you to throw away £75 when you're still pulling 200g/s!
