Got my Self a MBC So im going to try that...From speaking to Forge with my boost Pressure id want to see 8-10psi Static Pressure so il wind the actuator in a tiny bit more then Fit my MBC on its own then try it from there..

Tell you guys something took the car to 20psi ealier and the Boost Needle is Rapid At flyin round...Boost is so god dam Hard when spooling up...

And What Rpm Should see Boost by on a k04? So when im Slacking it off i dont make it too slack..

Tryed the Green spring and it acheaived peak boost 24psi on the actuator rod with minuimal spike (If Any) But it was utter crap at holding boost i could here it fluttering when in full wot and the boost needle dropping to quickly...This was tested on a N75....

Also Boost delivery was TAME on a green spring!

So took it off and re-fitted the yellow one and the boost delievery on Static pressure 10psi is like night and day sadly its peaking to high....Defo keeping the yellow spring really looking forward to the results once the MBC turns up:d

Danny, i think you should wait until you get the damaged forge actuator component fitted.
The green spring will give you stock performance but may not hold the wastegate shut high up the revv range. The yellow will give the extra strength to hold the wastegate shut but will spike like a mofo so the mbc should be set to allow the turbo to spike no more than 1.6 bar, as any higher will just get spun away and prevent boost holding higher up.
Set the actuator with minimum tension with the yellow spring, ie just take up the slack in the rod without applying too much preload.

By doing this do you mean Put the rod through the WG lever and push the Lever to the actuator as far as it will go(Push right from looking from the top of engine) and do it up slighlty to 2-3 turns..

This is what ive done and seeing static WG pressure 10psi...

Correct.:) but when i set the yellow i set it to 9psi so a little less preload than you.
Forge have miss informed you though danny, stock wastegate cracking pressure is 6psi and not 8psi.
The problem your having is the n75 is simply a frequency operated boost regulating valve but it was calibrated to work with a 6psi actuator, so since you've increased the actuator pressure you have lessened the degree of control the ecu has of regulating your boost. The mbc connected in parrallel with n75 will clip peak boost and trim it back in to deliver boost close enough to what the map is requesting during WOT without throwing a hissy fit.

Interesting Carl....Very Interesting....

Would running the MBC By its self be Any good? Its fukcing quick at the moment mate...

It depends if the Revo map will tolerate it mate. The problem with eliminating the n75 valve is during part throttle situations the mbc will boost too high when compared to what the map is requesting and so limp mode previals. Stage 3 maps are normally tolerant of this. This revo stage 2 is less fussy than my old APR map so maybe....... try it but, be sure you have the mbc correctly set first since although you have rods fitted, too high a spike can cause you lean issues and in any case you want to be keeping an eye on block 31 vagcom now the mani and actuator spring is fitted.

Thank Carl.i will run a mbc on its own and see how it performs.

Would like to say a massive thank you to forge for the outstanding customers service and how well mannered they are...
I spoke to John @forgemotorsport today and explained my problem then with out hestation he said he would make something up with single piston and brass seal with yellow spring to cope with the heat then at 3pm I received my tracking number from forge..

I must say excellent service by far.

Big thanks to forge my New actuator Arrived yesterday...Looks to be a totally different setup( Less Gaskets) that is installed..

Anyway finally got round to installing it tonight which took around 10minutes just a shame the bracket is the hardest part to fit lol...

anyway New & Old One...My Old one is perfectly fine all it needs it Blue plastic Seal,Actuator Bracket And 3x nuts....Also got a spare yellow & Green spring..

Ive adjusted it tonight and only managed one complete little drive to oldham and back around 30 miles or so...
Boost comes in Extremely hard low low down and spool is 100% louder too but only managed to take it too 20psi...Ive checked the static pressure and its sitting @ 12psi which to me is a little bit high...So will turn it down to 10psi if i can....9psi Would be Great too...

MBC has Turned up but im undesided about MBC on its own Or N75 & MBC inline...

But on the downside i need to sort this small little leak out: :whistle:Bath anyone?

Never had any problems with the pollen filter yet. Just the door seals for me. Altho i have got a drivers side footwell leak agen :( will check the pollen filter tmoz. If u want help gettin rid of that water in the footwell iv got a carpet cleaner which sucks up water ;)
