They are a complete biatch BergI spent about 5 hours undoing the 4 nuts
. I'd say best bet would probs be to get a nut splitter and try and split the nuts, I have loads spare if you need some, all OEM

I will have to see to make sure I have them first, or more to the point where they are. I'm happy to send a few in the post mate, no charge4 of each yeah?
Ahh bad luck mate, when I took mine off the studs actually unscrewed out the turbo lol
There so expensive because they are have a special locking thread like a nyloc but obviously nylon would melt at the temps.
I will check in a bit for you Berg![]()
Check your PM I have some nuts and studs here for you I believe... Can you remember if the nuts were quite hard to get on the studs? Nuts almost seem to be out of round :-/ maybe that's the nyloc equivilent James was saying about![]()
On another not, ive noticed where the gear lines run under the heatshield the rubber casing round them have very badly melted, theres melted rubber everywhere.
Is it worth heat wrapping the dp while its off the car?
Same with mine, literally so bad the linkages seized! Heatwrap the exhaust and the linkages! Well worth doing.
Luckyily that hasnt happened on mine yet!
Got some heatwrap and ties on order, ill do the downpipe and linkages before i fit it then![]()
It gets pretty mucky under there with melted rubber. I wrapped the linkages individually and used cable ties for those, then wrap the exhaust and use the metal ties that are supplied, they're good. I would off you some of that too but I need it when going BT, everything's going to have to be wrapped lol.
