Yes mate that's what I done anyway,

Top of the dv to the inlet manifold vac pipe is how I would describe it in simplest terms

Dv sounds crisper, more responsive if it worked, I heard some cars don't like it. Mine seemed very slighty better for it

Dito LEE, we have no clue what this guy did, no details were provided that and people need to chill out a bit. ;)

He is more than welcome to post details and would get the help he/she needs.

does anyone know what resistor to use if you want to totally get rid of the n249?

What benefit does this give you? Sounds to me as though the DV opens based solely on throttle position with the N249 bypassed, rather than when a predetermined vacuum pressure is reached as is the case when N249 actuation is occurring. Seems like this could cause overboosting through unregulated vacuum pressures in the intake manifold keeping the DV closed during hard acceleration. This would put strain on the turbo and boom, there goes a very expensive component.

This is my interpretation only, so I may well be wrong.

Is this a 'do it because we can' mod or one that yields tangible results? Bare in mind that manufacturers spend millions on parts like this for a reason.
