calipers

hi people. im wanting to paint my brake calipers red and have heard that using hammerite paint is better. what hammerite paint should i get? Just bog standard red hammerite paint or do they do a high temp one?. please help. thanks

Brembo's on my LCR are looking a bit worn and I've come across a full set of Evo 10 calipers (front and rear with pads) for a good price so I'm wondering if if anyone has ever tried fitting these or know if they will fit?

Hi Did anybody try to fit Mitsubishi EVO 2 pot calipers instead of OEM caliper? 256x22 Or any similar project was done by somebody?

What extras would i require fitting porsche 4 pots to a mk1 ? .. brackets etc ? and also brake disc size. cheers

Im pretty sure my front drivers side caliper is sticking. Done the wheel touching test and the drivers side seems to get hotter than the rest. I believe the 8v cupra has 256mm brakes. Going to go to the local scrap yard this weekend, but i doubt they will have many cupra's so what other VAG...

Does anywhere in the UK sell caliper seals for the rear calipers? Ive seen them on ECS Tuning but wonderd if there was anywhere over here that did them first, dbout the stealers do them as they will just try to fob me off with a new caliper.

Looking to paint my calipers red....they've been painted before but its all faded and looks crap. All I need to know is where is the best place to get the paint? What kind of paint do I need? Also shall I paint them red or blue? Its a silver cupra with gloss black cupra wheels.

right... I've just bagged myself a set of porsche 996 gt3 front radial mounted calipers, got me all excited but then it clicked. they are mounted backwards :-o Can these be mounted on the FR+ tdi with correct carriers etc? thanks! :confused:

How do you know if your calipers are sticking? What are the signs? Should there the car pull to one side under braking? While driving last night I got a weird screech that kept disappearing when I braked.
