Im thinking of getting a forge spliter dump valve ive read a few earlyer post's but there a bit older is there any new advice about getting 1? i dont want the big woosh :D but the recircilation sound can i get that with it? also the main thing wat can go wrong?

Hey guys i have a Forge split-r dv and when im parked idling it makes a really weird buzzing sound (vibrating sound)!! it goes away when you press the accelerator slightly!! Anyone got any ideas what it could be causing this? help much appreciated! James

Ive emailed forge so just waiting for a reply. But has anyone else got problems running a Split-R? VAG-COM gave me a 17608 code, so i changed the DV to standard bosch one and the codes now gone. Anyone else?

Received my valve and fitted it today to my LC - Thanks to Forge and also SCN for the discount ;) Gave it 1.5 to 2 turns and all seemed well no rattling on idle and performance seemed fine but with more whoosh! Only when i went to put the car in the garage did i notice the valve had started...

I just got my new valve, fitted it easily and sounds great. If you have an LCR with a BMC CDA and a 007p then get this valve and you will be smiling! :D
