Alloy Wheel Size

Hi,

I'm getting some new alloys for a 2007 Ibiza, I went into Halfords and they told me the size I need is 215/35/17 but I'm not quite sure if this is correct as the lad didn't look like he knew what he was on about . Is this right?

205/40/17.. i find halfords pretty useless tbh, been into mountain bikin for god knows how long and the guys in there know sod all about that either!

205/40/17 on my ibiza mate, any wider they'll rub, any skinnier tyres they'll make a harsh ride...

205 40 r17 on mine too....

Hey! I work at Halfords. I put 205/40R17 onto my Sport.

You may be quite restricted with wheels. Most 17" alloys are 8x17" (more for the Golf and A3), you need either a 7x17" or 7.5x17"

Im looking at some Skoda Octy ones and there (205/50/17). Will they fit? Iv seen them on a few cars
