lovely car you have there mate, took me an age to read through, should be proud of it.

The map will really help, i had mine done today and the few opportunities i had to 'test' it, it felt like an entirely new animal, you get yours done on the group buy arent you??

Yep I'm in the group buy too. I'm booked in this Saturday and I can't wait! I'll have about 130 miles to 'test' it on the way back, so that should be fun :D
 
Service Finished

I finally manage to finish my cambelt and water pump service this week. I was a bit shocked at the state of the belt. My car has not yet hit 60k, but it's over the recommended 4 years. Anyway this is the state that it was in

There is a crack over nearly all of the teeth on the belt. They're not deep but I'm so glad it's changed. It was actually quite a straight forward job to change it in the end.

A big thanks to David at Sere motors for supplying the parts at a great price :) I'd highly recommend him to anyone

Tommorow I'm off to visit Will at P-torque for him to work his magic :D Results will be posted when I get back :funk:

I'm not sure how often it needs to be changed. Mine looked quite worn and It used to squeek sometimes making the car sound rubbish! Only cost £9.50 from David at Sere motors :) Really easy to change too.

Yep I did indeed go for a remap yesterday :D I'll update this thread tommorow when I have more time

That is true about him not being the first lol, and yeah, next year mate, but not with this 110 non pd engine, i will either be putting a PD130 lump in my car with a hybrid 150 turbo, or move to something bigger and better, ive been looking at cupra K1's :)

Altech, we want a graph, figures and video :D
