Well today I had my car mapped, the torque figure was quite respectable at 303ftlb, but I only saw around 250bhp on the rollers, shaun said looking at the graph, the wheels could of spun higher up in the rev range around 5k. I did logs with vag com and only saw 182.75g's which is pretty low. I'm sure most mapped LCR's should be over 200g's. What could be causing the g's to be pretty low?? Shaun said that all the boost and map readings were fine and Reading correctly, I'm a little confused about why the g's are low, don't get me wrong, it pulls well on the road, just want to know why my car is pulling low g's?? Any explanations welcome

I'm going to give it a couple of days to adapt, if the g's don't get any better, it's time for a new maf sensor

Already spoke to AmD and they said give it a couple of days to adapt, then log the g's again and see if any improvement. If not, get a new maf sensor and see from there. If that's no improvement, then I could get a boost leak test done I'm pretty sure that it's the maf as I'm always having to spend more money haha

I aint really updated this much lately, not alot been done to the car as been working quite alot of hours. Anyway, the car will be going in very soon to have a blueflame cat back fitted which i am looking forward too Also i need peoples advice, what colour top hoses would you people go for, im tempted by red top hoses now and keep the TIP black. Im going to replace the top hoses the same time the FMIC goes on

Another multi coloured engine bay , either all red or all black seeing as ur tip is black black for ur hoses

you should have come out last sat night mate, was really good, think loads of us was down there till 4am.

Im very tempted by red hoses, but dont fancy having to buy another TIP in red. I may just keep the black TIP and do the other two top hoses red. Time will tell

Today i had a good day out at lydden hill, the BHP show. Just ashame about the weather, apart from that it was a all in all good day Later in the afternoon, i bit the bullet and booked myself some track time, was nervous, but once out there it was quite fun, definately going to get on track more often Here are a few pics

Yeah mate, it is good fun, I was very nervous at first but after a couple of laps the nerves stop and adrenaline kicks in. You have to keep your wits about you at all times and try not to feel rushed as that's when you will end up doing something silly.

One lug on the splitter isn't in mate, everytime I come off my drive, it catches and always pulls the same lug out so can't be assed to keep putting it back in lol. Track time was definately worth the money. You need to get yours on mate

Well i found out earlier why my car hasnt been feeling as quick as it should be lately, the wheels before would spin up in 2nd in the dry, for the past few weeks it hasnt, and it hasnt been vacuuming properly on the gauge either. This was the culprit, after managing to fix it, she felt so much stronger and held boost better, its just annoying that forge have not released these uprated ones just yet as they are still in production
