Spec paddle clutchs are good, Im currently running a LUK clutch off a golf VR6 and a flywheel off a G60.. should take the power if I dont abuse it too much.

Standard K03 running a stage 1 map from Jabba sport. Don't have the funds to do anything yet as i'm looking to move, so i'm juggling finances while trying to keep myself from selling it.

No you definitely dont wanna be selling it, you'll just regret it. Bang for buck you cant beat an Ibiza.
Turbo has FINALLY arrived.. looks pretty good condition only a tiny bit of shaft play but the rebuild kit and uprated thrust bearing is on order from CRT.. gunna get a forge actuator too.

I have a brand new top half of a K04 hose that I saved at work for you when I do the modded drain
How are you going to do the turbo rebuild?

Mark the compressor and turbine wheel on the shaft and nuts so I can make sure it all goes back in exactly the same position.. theoretically if nothing has moved it should stay balanced..
True, unless the nut needs to tighten up more or less.
1 way too find out! I have read 100's of bits on the net about people rebuilding there own turbos this way with no problems..
It should be tightened up to the same torque as before if it is in the same position.. I cant see anything compressing or stretching.. hmm

Yeh I am mate, and if everything is put back in the same position it should stay balanced..
Yeah I was contemplating doing what you have done to allow a bit more airflow to the cooler.

Few phone pics of the turbo rebuild.. Have decided to also fit a new compressor wheel just too be safe as well as getting it balanced..

Cheers mate, ran out of money atm which is rather annoying! got the shifter top mounted at the weekend which is sweet, much better position and stops the cables from getting melted by the downpipe. Ill get some pics up later

Noticed my gear cables have melted slightly so wouldnt mind seeing some pics of your top mounted shifter as i may do that too.
